A Word On Insurance

We are in-network with most of the Major Medical insurance plans in the area. If you find yourself with a “musculo-skeletal injury” (I.E. back and/or neck pain), then you should be able to use your medical insurance, as chiropractic has been proven to be the most cost-effective and natural way to relieve neck and back pain without drugs or surgery. However, Chiropractic is about more than just healing neck and back pain. It is about restoring the natural functions of the body through eliminating the interference in the nervous system, so the bodies own innate intelligence or life energy can be expressed.

“The power that made the body can heal the body”. Some medical insurance policies now offer preventative care options that include chiropractic in plans but typically, this is not something that medical insurance policies cover.  Deciding to make better lifestyle choices is just that, a choice that you have. We encourage and support healthy lifestyle choices, including regular chiropractic care, here at Feils Knapp Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

This is no different than joining a gym. You have decided to make a choice to be healthier and are then responsible to pay out of pocket for your membership. You also can’t go to the gym one or two times and expect to stay in shape and continue to get the health benefits. The same is true for wellness chiropractic care.

The ultimate goal is to get well and stay well! Think of it this way: most people have life insurance, but most don’t want to have to use it. Ideally, we shouldn’t have to or want to use our medical insurance either!

We will always encourage you to stick with regular, wellness chiropractic care, but we will never judge and always accept whatever decision you decide to make concerning the amount of care you receive.
